Jealous Wind

A tree stands outside
full of leaves and pride
the jealous wind tries to
knock them off
upset at the fact that
the tree is so beautiful
and no one can even see
the jealous wind
They can only feel it blow.
And the wind feels
that's not enough
but I will have my vengeance in the end.
It blows all year
but the leaves stay strong
After a while they tremble in fear
for they are weakening
so winter must be near
The abusing wind continually
beats against the leaves
they fall one by one
onto the ground
and turn brown
The wind becomes full of pride
and blows harder each day
seeing that it is tearing
the tree apart
finally the last leaf stands
trying to be strong
but the overwhelming wind
knocks it to the ground
and it turns brown
the wind mocks the tree
and calls it ugly
from the abuse of the wind
the tree feels disgusting inside.
