Together

Dust is setting in,
The sun slowly sinks
Beneath the mountains,.
The moon yawns and stretches
As it beings to light the horizon,
Shining in the dark sky.
As night melts away the twilight,
I know we watch the same moon,
Even on opposite sides.
Night moves on,
The moon dances with the time,
It beams and beams,
As I dream,
Of us being under the same spot of sky,
Looking at the moon together,
Watching dust turn into night,
And night melt away with the light of dawn,
Together close, on the same land,
In the same time,
Under the same beams.
