Lost Childhood

An innocent child, helpless and alone.
Irresponsible parents.
Pieces of childhood lost here and there,
Parents don't care.
They keep on drinking, doing drugs, abusing.
Childhood slips away, replaced with anguish.
Parents go on doing same.
The child grew up too fast,
by age ten he is grown mentally.
Parents repress the child, act like children themselves.
The child is no longer innocent.
He is filled with painful memories.
He will never have his precious childhood back.
