From the Moon

From the Moon

From the moon.
Fallen to earth.
Meant to shine bright
in the night sky.
To loom full of beauty.
To have knowledge of the
majestic beauty.

Instead here on earth
you were tortured
and punished.
Yet you committed
no crime.
You were just lost
from the loving arms
of the moon
somehow pulled away
by the earth's gravity.
Sucked into this world
unwillingly.

You do not belong
here in pain.
You belong
in the sky
shinning down on us.
With that loving beauty.

You must heal
and find your way
back to your rightful place
with the beauty and love
of the mother moon.
Use the people of earth
to help guide you
back to your home.
To help you heal.
Until you get
back to your
rightful place
in the night sky.
Looming above us

Remember some of us fondly
and forget the others.
For it matters not on the moon,
your home.
Nothing will ever
harm you when
you make it there.
The moon will protect you.
